He failed to dazzle again while on loan at Hull City but reports are linking Wigan, Leeds, Nottingham Forest, Norwich City and Aston Villa with moves for the player, who has made just nine first-team appearances for the Red Devils. 6 Alvaro Morata (Juventus) – The Spanish striker is a wanted man this summer. He is being lined up with a return to Real Madrid, who have an option to buy the player back for £25m, and they then plan to sell the player on. Chelsea and Manchester City were leading the chase, but now Man United, it appears, are ready to reunite the player with Jose Mourinho. 6 Gareth Bale (Real Madrid) – Its a rumour which has bubbled away for the last year, but its now being suggested Manchester United are readying a world record £94.3m bid to land the ex-Tottenham star. Currently at Euro 2016 with Wales, the midfielder reportedly wishes to return to the Premier League and Man United are one of the few clubs able to afford the player. 6 6 6 Matteo Darmian – There are going to be more transfers in at Old Trafford this summer, but there will need to be outs too. According to reports in Italy, Matteo Darmian could well return to his homeland after just one season in the Premier League, which wasnt too impressive. Juventus are favourites for his signature. Hes tipped to star at Euro 2016 in his homeland and could now be in line for a huge transfer. The Daily Mirror is reporting the Red Devils would have to pay a British record fee of £78m to land the player though, a huge sum compared to the £800,000 compensation Man United received when he left the club for the Serie A giants in 2012. Amadou Diawara (Bologna) – A star in Serie A at just 18, its understandable there is plenty of interest in the Guinean defensive midfielder. Hes been courted by a number of Premier League rivals, but Man United face missing out on the youngster as Spanish side Valencia are in advanced talks over a £13m deal.
