Virgin Australia management shakeup

Etihad Airways has a 19.9 per cent stake in Virgin and has no plans to raise its stake in to take over territory.  The three major airline owners of Virgin Australia, Singapore Airlines and Etihad Airways will place representatives on the Virgin Australia board, in the biggest management shakeup in the airline’s recent corporate history. Three members of the equity holding airlines will join the board in July after Virgin works out protocols to avoid potential or real conflicts of interest, AFR reported.
